60th Reunion ~ Class of 1962: Karl, Nancy, Jackie, Gary, Sonja, Bob, Craig, Jerry, & Don
Don and Barbe Kraft ('63) Wood's lovely home was the venue for the get-together. The kiosk above was going to be on a flat-bed truck for the Sturgis Days parade, but the committee decided, nah, let's not climb up there.
Bob and Craig are in deep discussion. Duane Wulf, Don, and Jerry discuss what to do about the Ukraine war. Nancy and Barbe Wood touch base, maybe about Nancy's trips to Africa and the Yucutan, and Barbe's attendance at Broadway musicals.
Jackie, as Class Secretary, faithfully took notes and reported details about the reunion as good as any newspaper columnist could ever do. Go ahead, think of your fave reporter, Jackie is right up there. (Side note: remember in typing class how she typed a couple hundred words a minute? She coulda been at a metro news desk in a major newspaper. Somehow I don't think she would have changed a thing from her life of raising a family and operating a family farm).
There you have it--the 60th Reunion. Regrettably, only 9 out of 36 classmates came. If we have another one in 5 years, maybe we can have 100% attendance. And, maybe we can do a better job of planning ahead to help you make it. Now, get your personal stories into Nancy and we'll get them on this website on the "What We're Doing" page. If you have anything else you'd like to put on this site, please send it to knutson.karl@gmail.com. Mucho appreciato!
